Privacy Policy

We designed PDFSpeeder to keep your documents private:

• In-browser tools. Many of our tools (for example most image, text, calculator and developer tools) run entirely inside your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Server-side tools. Some tools — such as certain conversions, OCR and AI features — require processing on our servers. In those cases your file is uploaded over a secure HTTPS connection, processed, and then automatically and permanently deleted within 2 hours. We do not open, copy, share or use your files for any purpose other than performing the task you requested.

We never sell your files, and we never add watermarks to your results.

We collect the minimum information needed to operate and improve the service:

• Contact details you provide — such as your name, email and message when you use our contact form or email us.
• Account & billing information — if you subscribe to a Pro plan, this is handled by our payment processor (see Third-Party Services below).
• Anonymous usage & analytics data — aggregated statistics such as which tools are popular, device/browser type and error reports, which help us fix bugs and improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

PDFSpeeder uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential cookies for basic site functionality and security.
• Preference cookies that remember settings such as your chosen theme (light/dark) and site language.
• No analytics cookies. Our visitor statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or local storage and without fingerprinting you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected if you do.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to deliver certain features:

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service, under their own privacy terms.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including:

• Secure HTTPS encryption for all connections;
• Automatic deletion of uploaded files within 2 hours;
• Minimal data retention and regular reviews of our code and infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data using industry-standard practices.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, simply contact us and we’ll be glad to help.

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
