Convert PDF to PowerPoint — Editable Slides in Seconds

You are given a training deck, a conference handout, or a client proposal as a PDF. Now you need to edit a chart, swap a logo, or add three new slides. Rebuilding the whole deck from scratch is a waste of hours. The faster way is to convert the PDF back into a .pptx: keep every page looking exactly as it was, or pull its text into boxes you can edit.

Our PDF to PowerPoint converter gives you three ways to rebuild the deck. Image-perfect turns each page into a slide picture that looks exactly like the original; Hybrid adds invisible, searchable text on top of that picture; Editable text puts each page’s text into a title box and a body text box you can rewrite, without the images, tables or layout. You get a real .pptx that opens in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote or LibreOffice, with no watermark.

How to Convert PDF to PowerPoint Online

The whole conversion runs in your browser: pages are rendered and their text is read on your device, scanned pages can be read with OCR, and the .pptx file is built there too.

1. Upload Your PDF

Drop a PDF from your device (up to 100 MB). Each page you select becomes one slide.

2. Choose a Mode

Image-perfect for an exact copy, Hybrid for the same look with searchable text, or Editable text for a title and a body text box on each slide. Turn on OCR for scanned pages.

3. Generate the .pptx

Pick the slide size (matched to the PDF, 16:9, 4:3 or portrait) and a theme, then build the .pptx right in your browser.

4. Download & Edit

Open the .pptx in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote. Edit the text, add new slides, and present. Your PDF never leaves your device.

What Makes This PDF to PPT Converter Better

Different jobs need different slides, so you choose: an exact picture of each page, the same picture with searchable text behind it, or plain text you can edit.

Editable Text Boxes

In Editable text mode, each page’s text goes into a title box and a body text box (smart title detection picks out the larger heading text). Click, type and reformat it like text you typed yourself; images and tables are not carried over.

Exact Page Images

Image-perfect and Hybrid render each page as a high-quality image at the DPI you choose (72 to 300, 150 by default), so the slides look just like the PDF.

Themes, Notes and Page Numbers

Choose a white, dark, cream or navy theme, add each page’s text as speaker notes, and number the slides in the corner.

Correct Slide Dimensions

Widescreen 16:9, standard 4:3, or custom PDF page sizes — the .pptx matches the original dimensions automatically.

OCR for Scanned PDFs

If a page is scanned, OCR reads its text right in your browser, with 15 language options including Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese.

Privacy Guaranteed

Runs in your browser — your file never leaves your device. No account needed.

PDF to PowerPoint — Common Questions

It depends on the mode. Editable text gives you text boxes you can rewrite, but no images. Image-perfect and Hybrid keep each page as one picture that you can move, resize or replace, but the text inside the picture can’t be edited (Hybrid’s hidden text can be selected and searched).

In Image-perfect and Hybrid modes, yes — each slide is a picture of the page. Editable text keeps only the words, in a title box and a body box, so the original layout, images and tables are not reproduced.

Yes. The output is a standard .pptx file that opens in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote, and LibreOffice Impress without compatibility issues.

Yes. The conversion runs in your browser, so your PDF is never uploaded to our servers and never accessed by any human.
