For most photos with clear subject-background separation, accuracy is excellent. Tricky cases — thin hair strands, fur, transparent objects, complex backgrounds — may need a few touch-up strokes with the manual brush.

Yes. After the background is removed, pick the white swatch (or any colour) and the subject is placed on a clean, uniform background. Download it as a JPG (which bakes the colour in) or a PNG. For ID/passport photos you'll still need to crop to the required dimensions in an image editor — this tool handles the background, not the sizing.

The AI runs on our server, so the image is uploaded for processing, the cut-out is sent back, and the temporary files are deleted immediately — nothing is stored, logged or shared. (The optional background recolouring and brush touch-ups after that happen entirely in your browser.)
